There is intense cooperation and a lot of substantive issues raised by the political situation in the country, as reported by Elke Kalkowski, co-responsible for the coordination of Swiss NGOs. Elke Kalkowski, from Germany, arrived in Bolivia following nearly three decades, during which it has always maintained a special relationship with both European solidarity with the major players in the country. The journalist and theologian Hildegard Willer, from Germany, South lived for nine years in Peru. She was initially cooperating with Bethlehem Mission Immensee (MBI) and worked for two successive drafts. For four years, she was coordinator of the nine cooperating in this Swiss NGO in this Andean country for many years.
