WUSC (World University Service of Canada) is a Canadian international development non-profit organisation. Present in over 25 countries, WUSC seeks to improve education, employment and empowerment opportunities for youth and other marginalised people around the world. WUSC works with a unique and powerful network of post-secondary institutions, corporate partners and volunteers to create a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable world for youth. WUSC’s vision is to create a world where all young people can grow up in safe, secure and supportive environments; where they can learn, work and play a vital role in their country’s development.

International volunteer cooperation is central to WUSC’s success in delivering meaningful development results. Canada's largest international volunteer cooperation program, Uniterra, is a joint initiative of WUSC and CECI (the Centre for International Studies and Cooperation). Through Uniterra, qualified individuals are recruited to volunteer their time and experience in partnership with local organisations in 14 developing countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America.
