Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO)
Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO) is one of Canada’s leading volunteer-based development organizations. Operating since 1967, it has supported more than 46,000 volunteer assignments focused on improving the economic and social wellbeing of people across Canada and in more than 120 countries.
CESO is run by a team of committed volunteers and staff who believe in the power of partnerships and are focused on helping individuals and organizations build strong, viable businesses and independent communities to ensure a better quality of life. It enlists the help of highly skilled and dedicated volunteers to work with small and medium-sized businesses, government agencies, civil society organisations, business associations and Aboriginal communities to develop skills and technical expertise. To do so, a multi-year action plan outlining a series of assignments may be developed.
CESO ensures a partnership model approach—a strategic, relationship-based approach to deliver services to communities and organizations. With this approach, CESO aims to strengthen economic and social well-being in Canada and abroad through engagement of skilled and experienced Canadian volunteers working co-operatively with its partners to create solutions that foster long-term economic growth and self-reliance.
