On the 13th June 2007 in cooperation with MEPs Marian Harkin and Gisela Kallenbach AVSO organised a conference in the European Parliament. The aim of the conference was two-fold: firstly to present the latest research projects in the field of voluntary service and volunteering, and secondly to hear from policy makers about their take on research and how research results could be fed into policy-making. read conference report.
