FORUM and UN Volunteers are working together to develop research initiatives which were discussed at the IVCO 2004 conference. A consultant has now been appointed to produce guidelines that IVCOs can use to assess impact. The contribution of FORUM members and other IVCO delegates will strengthen this research and enable learning and understanding across the network.
A steering group is guiding the research. Members of this group include UN Volunteers, Australian Volunteers International, Canadian Crossroads International, German Development Service, Japan Overseas Co-operation Volunteers, Skillshare International and Volunteer Service Abroad.
