Ms Nita Kapoor was appointed the Director of FK Norway in August 2009, and was a board member of Fredskorpset from 2001-2004.She has previously worked as the Head of Information in Lillehammer Olympic Aid and as project manager in Norwegian People’s Aid until 1996 when she was appointed political advisor to the Minister of Culture, Turid Birkeland.
From 1998 to 2000, she was Senior Vice President in the Norwegian State Railways, and Head of The National Commission on Violence against Women under the Ministry of Justice until 2003. In 2004, she was appointed Head of the Cultural Dept in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK).
